Description

The blonde elf in front of you is clearly a warrior of sorts, and one comfortable in his status as such. Despite a lack of trouble, he's still wearing armor: under the green tunic is a chain shirt, and on his left shoulder is a heavier plate of armor. Under the chain shirt he's wearing a cloth undershirt that is clearly of the same material as his trousers. He wears leather gauntlets and matching boots, and under the gauntlets are a pair of bright blue fingerless gloves made of a material that matches some of the trim of his boots. The gloves also match his long scarf, though that ends in an orangish red bar with a crest of some sort just above it. Finally on his head is a green cloth cap to match his tunic. A sturdy belt rests around his waist, complete with pouches as well as connecting with another pair of belts that cross his torso and go over his shoulders. His usual weaponry of choice, a sword and shield, are normally kept out of the way on his back.

Background

One day, in Hyrule, dark armies marched on the castle. The Princess Zelda and Impa, the general over the Hylian Army, set even the trainees out to defend in an all out effort to keep the kingdom safe. On that day, in the field of battle, one young warrior made his presence known. A warrior known as Link. Over the course of the campaign, Link proved himself to be the reincarnation of the hero, up to and including pulling the Master Sword to help defeat this dark army threatening to destroy the kingdom, and instead releasing Ganondorf from his seal. He even found himself travelling to the far past to stop the Sorceress's armies. Eventually, however, the Sorceress Cia and even Ganondorf were defeated, leaving a tired and humbled soldier with no further direction to go. Now tired of the fame and reputation, yet still restless, he travelled on to the next kingdom... but one day found himself tumbling from a stone frame into the middle of the desert...

Today, Link enjoys being mostly an anonymous 'elf' in Distant Oceans Village, making his living by working in the town's Magic Shop. While he left the Master Sword in its place in Hyrule, he's still rarely without a sword and shield, even if they are mundane.

From an out of character standpoint, yes, this is specifically the Link from Hyrule Warriors. It is not the player's intent to preclude any version of Zelda characters from other games, or even in fact other versions of Link himself from being played!
