I Died, Now What?
Death on TRI can happen. Always remember, whether your character dies or not is up to you! If you're in a scene and your character is going to die but you don't want them to, talk to the other players in the scene and find a way to get out of death. There can be any number of things that can happen if you'd prefer to live. But, if you choose to die, where do you go from there? It's up to you!
Overworld
Some people call it Heaven, but it's basically the after life for good folk where angels live, lakes sparkle, angels sing, and you can be dead in peace! However, some people want to regain their fleshly bodies and not be a spirit anymore, even if they did make it to paradise! Well, it's up to you how you want to return. Maybe your friends in the living world have gone on a quest and found an artifact or spell or technology to resurrect you? Maybe you found an angel and they're willing to make a deal with you, like, sure you can go back, but you have to be recreated as a different person, creature, or whatnot. Maybe they put a blessing on you where you have to always help others for a year, or the rest of your life! There are countless ways to go about coming back from the Overworld, so do whatever will be more fun for you. However, you'll never come back to life better than you were before, dying has to have some drawbacks after all.
Angel Characters

Underworld
Some people call it Hell, but it's really a bunch of dark caverns where souls are laid to rest. Or perhaps a series of lava pits where you burn forever. Or maybe you're locked in a cell and tortured occasionally. Whatever the case, the Underworld is where bad folk go when they die. Most people don't want to stay here and would rather come back to life. So how do you go about it? Well, if you have any friends left living, they could always try to find a way to resurrect you through magic, tech, etc. Otherwise, you can try to make a deal with a demon or other Underworld entity, usually they just want a piece of your soul, and hey, what else are you going to be doing with it? Similar to the angels, you'll have to go back recreated as a different person, creature, or whatnot, and generally, they'll curse you for the fun of it. Maybe it always rains after you're outside for a few hours, or no matter how many different shoes or clothes you buy, they never fit quite right! In the end, it's all up to you.
The Void
Nothingness. The great void is an eternal emptiness where nothing lives or exists. Perhaps your soul goes nowhere but here, and you're left in a never ending stasis of nothing. Now you have nothing to do but wait to come back to life. Perhaps some eternal entity will take pity on you, and pluck your soul from the void to reincarnate it into another life.
Which Do I Pick?
It's up to you! You can just be dead and do nothing if you like! This is all player's choice. Just remember there should be a cost for dying and then coming back to life, otherwise, what's the point and what does it matter?
